The Movement System via Washington University in St. Louis Program in PT

"At the core of our approach to physical therapy is the human movement system, which consists of physiological organ systems that interact to produce and support movement of the body and its parts. Movement science is the study of the movement system, and we believe physical therapists are the world’s movement system experts."

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a doctor's referral?

No, a doctor's referral is not required to be seen by a PT in Illinois. The state law allows direct access to physical therapists as a primary care provider.

Do you take insurance?

No, I do not take insurance. Payment can be made in cash or via Venmo. This way, there is no guessing what the cost will be or any hoops to jump through for additional follow-up sessions.

Where are you located?

I am located in the Springfield, IL area. Since I operate as a mobile PT, I will travel to your house or your preferred meeting location.

Do I need to have exercise equipment already?

No, you do not need to have exercise equipment already. I will provide some exercise equipment to use during our sessions and will find ways to replicate the exercises at home based on what is available.

What is included in your running plan?

With a personalized running plan through AGPT, you will receive customized weekly breakdowns of training activities, weekly feedback, and the ability to incorporate additional activities that you want to complete.
